UAE warns its citizens against Lebanon travel

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned citizens (with Diplomatic, official and ordinary) passports, not to travel to Lebanon due to events and unstable security conditions witnessed there. 


Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Under-Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement also urged the UAE citizens in Lebanon to leave the country immediately for safety reasons and coordinate with the UAE Embassy in Beirut on the following numbers to facilitate their departure process: 0096118570000 and the Operations Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: 0097124449600.
He urged the citizens to comply with this warning until further notice and to be cautious when travelling outside the country.
Somalia blast condemned
The UAE has condemned the terrorist bombing outside a hotel in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu, which resulted in many causalities. “The UAE condemns such criminal acts which undermines security and stability in Somalia,” said a Foreign Ministry statement, expressing its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and the Somali government and people.
“The UAE reiterates its unwavering stand against terrorism in all its shapes and forms,” the statement added. KT
